Know your iPhone before choosing a charging port repair
Some iPhones look almost identical but use completely different charging port assemblies. iPhone 15 and later models use USB-C, while iPhone 14 and earlier use Lightning — so the connector alone already splits the range. Even within the same generation the parts differ. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro both have USB-C, but the Pro models support faster USB 3 data transfer and use a different charging port assembly. It’s a similar story with the iPhone 16 Plus and iPhone 16 Pro Max: each needs the charging port flex designed specifically for that model. That difference matters because the exact model determines which part fits your iPhone, which options are available and how much the repair costs. You can check yours by going to Settings → General → About → Model Name. If your iPhone is flat and won’t charge at all, bring it to MrFix and we’ll identify the model for you before confirming your charging port option and exact repair price.
