Know your Pixel before choosing a screen repair
Some Pixel phones look almost identical from the front — and even share a similar screen size — while using completely different screen parts.
Take the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8a. They look alike at a glance, but the screens are different sizes, shapes and specifications, and they are not interchangeable. Pro models also use different panels from their standard counterparts, and even phones from the same generation can differ in how the fingerprint sensor sits under the display.
That difference matters because the exact model determines which screen fits your Pixel, how involved the repair is and how much it costs. Choosing by appearance alone can easily lead to the wrong part or price.
You can find your model in Settings → About phone, or by checking the model name on the box or in your Google Account device list. If your Pixel won’t power on or the screen is completely black, bring it to MrFix and we’ll identify the model for you before confirming your screen option and exact repair price.
