Q What is MrFix?

A MrFix is a smart and easy way to fix your device. We do all kind of makes and models repairs and we guarantee our price to be the cheapest in Edinburgh while ensuring our quality of work is kept to its highest.

Q How does MrFix repair service work?

A We have 3 options that you can choose from:

  • 1. Walk in service - You can come and drop your device to our store when it suits you best and we can work on same day service providing we have all the parts to do so.
  • 2. Mailing service - You can either drop your device to our store or post to our store(this will be at your own cost) and we can either deliver or post your device back (free of charge) once fixed via 'signed for' postal service.
  • 3. Call out service - MrFix provides a call out service which entails of us coming out to you being it a house or workplace. This service is useful when you are not able to make it out or is too busy to do so. This service is available from 8am - 8pm, 7 days a week.

Q How to book using our online service?

A Go to www.mrfixs.com and click 'Book A Repair' Now you can select your device and tell us what's the issue you are having and we will be able to quote you accordingly. We also have live chat available during working hours.

When you have booked your appointment you will receive an email confirming time and location.

Q Do we stock parts for all models?

A MrFix is the only company in market that holds all types of parts for most devices. We do 90% of the repairs same day within 1 hour time slots. To ensure we can provide this for you please call us on 0131 334 5678 or 0131 629 1970 prior on coming in so we can arrange this.

Q What devices can you not fix on the same day or at all?

A We do many repairs from fixing broken screens to more technical jobs such as micro soldering, charging ports, replacing backlights IC, charging IC and many more. However, there are a few devices that we are simply not able to do at all such as:

  • • Heavily damaged items e.g. multiple items of the device has broken - casing falling apart
  • • Device from other countries
  • • Modifying items e.g. conversion of models to an upgrade
  • • Extensive water damage

Q Will I lose my data during my repair?

A If we need to reset your device or wipe data we will first contact you to have permission to do so. Please ensure your device is backed up before you hand it over as we are not liable loss of data. We cannot guarantee that all data will be available due to nature of repairs we undertake

Q How do I pay for my repairs?

Payment will be taken after repairs are done once you satisfied with your repair.

Q How can I trust that my personal data is safe?

A It’s our responsibility that no data will be shared or passed to any third parties

Q What if I don’t know what is wrong with my mobile?

As we are specialized in repairs it’s our job to let you know what is wrong with your device. Once we have the device we are able to have a look at your phone and once we acknowledge what the problem is we will contact you to update a quote for your device.

Q What happens if my device is lost?

A In a very unlikely event if your device became lost in transit one of over team members will contact you to complete an internal investigation with our courier. If your device can not be located, our customer service team will contact you and we will offer you replacement of equal specification which will be supplied within 7 working days.
